THE WORK We are seeking an experienced International Trade Compliance (ITC) professional to support Jurisdiction and Classification activities at the RMS Derco Organization.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of U.S. Export control laws and regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations(EAR). The ITC professional will provide support and guidance to the International Trade Compliance Team and to Programs/Operations through analyses of U.S. governmental ITAR/EAR regulations.
This role will be responsible for:
• Researching and determining Jurisdiction and Classification of end-items, subsystems, parts, components, equipment, and technical data/technology.
• Review technical documents engineering designs, functional capabilities, and drawings to determine export control status, classification and document marking requirements.
• Applying knowledge and understanding of the regulatory definitions of technical data and technology when conducting reviews of technical documents and drawings to determine export control status and document marking requirements.
• Supporting audits or assessments of compliance. Assist in assessments of compliance with government laws and regulations and company policies relating to international trade.
• Supporting classification requests from various divisions across the company including RMS (Rotary and Mission Systems), TLS (Training , Logistics & Sustainment) and Aeronautics (AERO), including F16, F35 training and F35 Support, C130 and ATMP (Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulations Maintenance Program)
• Cross training and providing support to other ITC team functions as needed (Imports, Exports, Licensing, etc.)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
