Job Description
The Branch Manager position formally reports to the EVP, General Sales Manager providing theatrical sales and booking services for the Universal Pictures slate of films.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Sell and book first run Universal film titles to national, regional, and independent exhibitors
- Provide information and expertise about dedicated regional circuits to the broader distribution organization
- Analyze industry trends and interpret data to aid in the targeting theatres for each release
- Secure premium screens for Universal films
- Communicate film rental and policy to exhibitors
- Coordinate with Print Control for the trafficking of all release and pre-release screenings, ensuring proper print type delivery to exhibition
- Negotiate weekly holdovers with exhibition, following policy and delivering against established targets
- Partner closely with Accounts Receivables to collect film rental from exhibition
- Collect missing box office reports as needed
- Maintain theater data including screen counts, formats, and seat counts on an
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the sales distribution industry or buying experience required
- Proven negotiation skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends with short notice

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $150,000 - $190,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
