Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead enterprise-scale technology initiatives, define engineering standards, and deliver secure, resilient solutions for mission-critical systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to influence technology strategy across the organization.
This role is a hybrid position and in the office three day a week.
There is no Visa sponsorship or transfer for this role.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives with broad impact.
Define and implement engineering best practices for large-scale systems.
Design, develop, and optimize enterprise applications and platforms.
Drive security, resilience, and observability strategies across systems.
Collaborate with senior technical leaders and mentor peers.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of software engineering experience.
5+ years working with enterprise platforms (cloud or on-prem).
3+ years Unix/Linux systems administration and scripting experience.
3+ years implementing observability solutions for large-scale systems.
3+ years designing resilience and failover strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
Expertise in Python for enterprise-scale applications.
Experience designing distributed, high-volume systems.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and SecOps practices.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
