Job Summary
KBR is seeking a highly organized and experienced Security Specialist to join our team to support to the Army’s Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Project Office located on Redstone Arsenal, AL. Serves as a security specialist supporting a government office in security disciplines including, Information Security, Industrial Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, OPSEC, and Foreign Disclosure. Position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, multi-tasking, and the ability to operate in a high-paced, team environment. Travel up to 25%.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop security plans and procedures for handling, safeguarding, transmission, receipt, and generation of classified information.
- Review security clearance determinations for employees or other persons for access to sensitive information, resources, material, or work sites.
- Support a multi-discipline security program to protect classified information located at all government and contractor facilities involved in the program.
- Support detailed security procedures (SOPs, OPSEC Plans, Treaty Plans, etc.) to be implemented at all locations involved in the program.
- Continuously evaluate and modify security program as technology matures and progresses through research and development, production and fielding, ensuring continuous protection.
Basic Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor of Science degree or 4+ years of job experience in alignment with the duties associated with this job description.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of US Army Security systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with Army, OSD and DoD organizations and staff processes desired.
