Position Details

- Schedule: Monday-Friday and some weekends 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm
- Pay: $21-$25/hour
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
Requirements: Valid driver's license required; Spanish bilingual highly preferred
Schedule Flexibility Required: While the primary schedule is overnight, this position requires flexibility to work occasional daytime hours and weekends as needed.
About the Role
We're seeking a self-motivated Training Coordinator to facilitate employee training programs during daytime operations at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This role requires someone who can work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative in managing training activities.
You will conduct employee training programs to support professional development and coordinate training schedules with trainees and operations teams. Prepare and set up training rooms and materials and maintain the training reference library. Enter all training activities into the ABM University Learning Management System (LMS), file training rosters, and maintain personnel training records. Ensure full compliance with all training requirements and provide feedback on training materials for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Coordination
- Conduct employee training programs and facilitate learning sessions
- Coordinate training schedules with operations leadership and trainees
- Set up classrooms with audio-visual equipment and training materials
- Ensure training environments are conducive to learning
Administrative Duties
- Enter all training records into ABM University Learning Management System (LMS)
- Maintain training rosters, attendance records, and personnel training files
- Ensure compliance with all training requirements
- Maintain training reference library and materials inventory
Materials & Resources
- Prepare training materials, handouts, and promotional fliers
- Organize and set up/break down training equipment and classrooms
- Track training program utilization and effectiveness
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid driver's license
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in English
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to adjust schedule for daytime or weekend training when needed
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Airport operations experience
- Background in adult education or training coordination
Work Environment
- Airport terminal environment with moderate noise levels
- Both indoor and outdoor exposure to all weather conditions
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods
