Description:Maintain data repositories
Manage, monitor, administer database system and performance activities
Plan for transition of the development and/or production environment to new technology
Install upgrades and critical patch updates as they become available on both the test and production environments
Support database development and implementation by participating in pilot testing and providing information on changes required in the database
Ensure that proposed object definitions are clear, concise, and technically correct, and that they represent singular concepts
Modify and customize commercial programs for internal needs
Test all database changes in the test environment prior to deploying the changes to the production environment
Design, develop, analyze, evaluate and install Oracle databases to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
Use data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases.
Determine data storage and optimum storage requirements.
Prepare system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.
Work with Software Engineering team to ensure optimum performance and design for system performance.
Basic Qualifications:• Experience with administering Oracle databases (such as 11g, 12c, 19c, 21c)
• Experience working and scripting in a Linux environment
• Experience and Understanding of Oracle High Availability (HA) Solutions
• Experience with Oracle Installation, Setup and Maintenance of Oracle RAC
• Experience with Oracle Installation, Setup and Maintenance of Oracle Data Guard
• Experience with the following: Database development creating tables and procedures; Writing SQL statements in Transact-SQL; Understanding of connection pools such as ODBC, JDBC
• Experience and Understanding of Oracle’s Advanced Security Options and Implementation
• Understanding database encryption solutions
• Working in a development environment with application scheduled releases
• Experience with Performance Tuning in Oracle
• Experience with Setup and Maintenance of PostgreSQL
Desired Skills:• Demonstrated understanding of Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies such as ICD503 to ensure system security and data integrity
• Professional Oracle Database Administrator certification
• Experience updating and deploying new connections and passwords using Oracle Wallet
• Experience using Database Configuration Management tools such as Subversion or other types

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
