Audit Director
What does a successful Audit Director do at Fiserv?
At Fiserv, a successful Internal Audit Director at Fiserv will lead audit engagements for the highly regulated payments and card industry in alignment with the department's methodology and framework. You will provide leadership, guide strategic audit processes, and deliver insights to enhance risk management, controls, and operations.
What you will do:
- Execute audit programs and projects to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Lead a team of auditors, providing mentorship and guidance to develop their skills.
- Contribute to the strategic and proactive consultation process to identify risks and determine effective risk mitigation practices.
- Provide senior-level support to the audit planning process and oversee audit executions.
- Ensure conformance with audit methodologies and standards, including IIA.
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues, implementing measures to remediate.
- Provide periodic status reporting and content to the Senior Audit Executives.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain key business relationships.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in public accounting or financial services industry (includes Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Compliance) with at least 3+ years of leading audit teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent military experience.
- Knowledge of Global Internal Auditing Standards and latest audit techniques.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build rapport and interact with cross-functional teams.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent certifications.
What would be great to have:
- Advanced degree in related field.
- Extensive experience in financial services or fintech industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards related to payment industry.
- Experience leveraging data analytics within the audit function.
