As a Consultant with a focus on our social impact clients, you’ll support mission-driven organizations, including nonprofits, foundations, and social enterprises, as they clarify direction, measure progress, and scale what works. You’ll contribute to projects that range from strategic planning and organizational learning to partnership design and impact measurement. You may also collaborate on projects with corporate partners who share a focus on purpose and systemic change.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research, interviews, and landscape analyses to inform strategic recommendations.
- Support the design of workshops and co-creation sessions that engage diverse stakeholders.
- Help develop strategy briefs, presentations, reports, measurement frameworks, and learning materials.
- Apply structure, clarity, and visual design to deliverables so materials communicate effectively.
- Contribute to project coordination, synthesis, and documentation across client engagements.
- Support business development through research, proposal inputs, and presentation design.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to refine Northly’s tools and frameworks for impact and systems change.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in consulting, philanthropy, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and writing skills; able to synthesize data, stories, and insights.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail; able to bring structure and visual craft to presentations, tools, and communications.
- Demonstrated curiosity about social innovation, human-centered design, and systems thinking
- Collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $68,241.30 - $82,183.08 per year
