Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Tool & Fixture Specialist (Level B or C) to support the Tooling team in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs routine tool set up activities
Makes minor repairs. Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools
Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required
Provides tooling support to other organizations
Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design
Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Must have a current valid driver’s license
1+ year of experience with tool set-up and/or maintenance
1+ year of work experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks
1+ year of work experience operating hand tools
1+ year of experience repairing, maintaining, construction, and/or the inspection of tools, dies, jigs, power feed, etc
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time (6+ hours)
Must be able to carry and lift to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Laser Tracker and/or Romer Arm measuring equipment
Experience with Spatial Analyzer (SA) software
Experience operating CNC Mill

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Level B: 61,200 –74,800
Summary Pay Range for Level C: $71,100 – $86,900
