Basic Job Functions:
NTP-Gallatin is actively seeking a dynamic individual for the guard position located in our facility. Our team demonstrates a firm commitment to taking care our customers and a strong belief in work-life balance to maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensuring compliance with all rules, regulations, and company guidelines regarding the safety of visitors and carriers coming onto our facility.
2. Communicating and coordinating with other departments relating to deliveries and visitor appointments.
3. Communicating with loading and receiving crews for timely coordination of incoming and outgoing loads.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:

Aptitude to learn various computer applications to support the shipment of finished goods.

Highly detail oriented, organized, and capable of working in a steady-paced environment.

3+ years with background in a security guard role.
