Amentum is seeking to hire licensed electricians to support a project in Seoul, Korea. In this position you be joining a group of skilled professionals performing a new building project. The project has many interesting aspects and is led by a team of professional managers that work together to meet project goals
Electrician Job Responsibilities:
Using contract drawings and specifications install conduit, wire, support fixtures, lighting and devices.
Coordinate with architectural and mechanical trades personnel in the installation of project required equipment and materials.
Assist in activities that require all personnel to support a major activity, such as a demolition activity within the space.
Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers.
Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.
Project Details:
Work hours are 700 to 1730 HRS, Monday through Saturday. Transportation to and from the project is provided. Housing is a one-bedroom apartment located within 15 minutes by car from the project. Air travel is standard coach class, to and from point of departure.
Electrician Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to run conduit.
Install electrical components to include but not limited to: electrical panels / lighting / switches / receptacles / control wiring / fire alarm
Assist with the project goals in supporting other trades as needed
Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.
Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
Up-to-date electrician’s license.
5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Experience with new builds, and renovation projects.
