Description:What You Will Be Doing Operations Technician tasked to support Supervisors
and Work Force for the C-130J Mid/Mate Area with a prime emphasis on structural and electrical installations.
Supports development of crew plans to meet or
exceed safety, quality, cost and schedule
requirements. Utilizing Earned Value Management
tools will identify, drive, and support implementation
of improvements for work sequence, engineering,
planning, tooling, and waste reduction. Supports Work
Force proficiency efforts. Facilitates self-directed work
teams, provides training in core skill areas to teams
and peers, and interacts with internal and external
customers with respect to product planning, problem
resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are
generally experienced in one or more areas of
manufacturing operations.

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:• Aircraft production/manufacturing and/or live aircraft
maintenance experience - with heavy focus on
structural and electrical installations.
• Experience interpreting technical specifications and
schematics - with emphasis on B/P
reading/interpreting.
• Working knowledge of aircraft systems &/or
functions.
• Working knowledge of process specs, WRD's, MPS's.
• Experience relating to aircraft manufacturing,
maintenance, assembly, &/or modifications.
• Experience planning, correcting, &/or leading
projects of work.
• Production / shop floor Experience.
Desired Skills:• Knowledge of C-130 assembly
• Aircraft support experience.
• Multi-faceted manufacturing experience (various
skills/departments/processes).
• Troubleshooting/root cause/corrective action.
• Working knowledge of Full Spectrum Leadership
tenets.
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
• Familiarity with industry compliance and safety
regulations.
• Ability to develop and track performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production
planning tools.
• Proficiency in QADS, SFM, EDW, SAP, DIMS, Vision,
Tableau, NFS, STK.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
