THE WORKAs an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program Lead with Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Your role will encompass leading RMS Enterprise EHS ergonomic risk reduction and injury prevention programs, collaborating with leadership and stakeholders including Production Operations, Performance Management Teams (PMTs), Engineering & Technology (E&T), Corporate ESHS, and Human Resources, and implementing ongoing management and enhancement of the RMS Ergonomics program.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop, lead and continuously improve the RMS Ergonomics programs to ensure risk reduction and consistency across RMS
• Lead implementation of ergonomic risk reduction projects, trend and quantify results and savings, track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communicate performance to leadership
• Support injury reduction processes by assisting with Injury, Illness, and Close Call investigations and corrective action development
• Deliver training related to ergonomic risk evaluation and analysis system/tool utilization
• Lead continuous improvement events (ergo sweeps, SIA, Kaizens) to identify and implement risk reduction opportunities and strengthen the ESH Management System
• Write policies and procedures as it pertains to ESH processes
• Serve as the Ergonomic Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing interpretations, recommendations, and ensuring compliance and alignment with health and safety regulations, LM policies, and 1LMX strategies and initiatives
• Build effective working relationships across the organization to align with business strategy, goals and objectives
• Manage projects including the development of detailed plans and schedules, resource and budget requirements, program frameworks and deliverables, measurement, evaluation and communication
• Up to 30% travel

Basic Qualifications:- Proven ability to establish and lead multi-functional ergonomic employee engagement teams and programs
- Strategic knowledge of ergonomic assessment and evaluation tools (NIOSH, RULA, MMH guidelines, etc.) and experience levering these tools to develop business cases and demonstrate Return-On-Investment (ROI)
- Experience measuring KPI's
- Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and verification of mitigations
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to communicate effectively, collaborate, influence, and lead across multiple functions
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be willing to travel up to 30%
Desired Skills:- Professional EHS Certification (e.g., CPE, CSP, CIH, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system processes, such as ISO 14001/45001
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or other experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques, including thorough root cause analysis and mistake-proofing processes
- Understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace setting
- Ability to work effectively and independently across different functions, collaborate with peers and leadership, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and be flexible
- Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence EHS cultural improvement
- Energetic self-starter who seeks innovative solutions to Ergonomic risk management and strategies
- Demonstrated management experience and oversight of budget elements, including both overhead and capital expenditures

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
