Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Strategy and Business Development (S&BD) Intern for our Enterprise Mission Command and Control (EMC2). In this role, you will work closely with one or more BD mentors on projects involving various business analysis disciplines. You will perform one or more of the following business-related activities: market research, data analysis, DoD budget analysis, competitive landscape analysis, trade studies, business metrics analysis, opportunity qualification and assessment, capture activities, proposal activities, capture strategies and marketing plans for new business and program growth pursuit.
The successful candidate may have an interest and/or knowledge of the US Department of Defense (US Navy, US Air Force, US Special Operations Command), US Government budgeting, basic business principles, and familiarity with the Defense Industry landscape.

Basic Qualifications:• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, International Business, Finance, Project Management or related major interested in putting their skills to work as a Business Development - Intern.
• Proficient with IT systems to develop source material, conduct research and prepare presentations.
Desired Skills:• Familiarity with United States Department of Defense missions and platforms, and associated Defense Industry landscape
• Familiarity with Unites States Air Force missions and platforms, and associated Defense Industry landscape
• Familiarity with Special Operations missions and platforms, and associated Defense Industry landscape
• Familiar with Products and services provided by Defense Industrial Base
• Willingness to travel domestically to RMS major sites such as Moorestown, Valley Forge, Washington, DC, Orlando or Denver.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
