Electrical Engineer
TECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL– ELECTRICAL
Under direct supervision, the Technical Professional – Electrical independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard electrical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional electrical engineering experience, the incumbent assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Assignments usually include one or more of the following: design and development, testing of materials, preparation or checking of design calculations and specifications, studies, research investigations, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical systems including power systems performance and control, cabling and wiring, lighting, motor control centers design and development, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding, lightning protection, heat tracing, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be US Citizen and eligible to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience in Power Distribution preferred
- Certification of EIT preferred
