The Role:
The career level Manufacturing Engineer will be skilled in manufacturing equipment, tooling and process improvements and overall manufacturing process support. The work is performed in a manufacturing environment where innovation, creativity and initiative are used to support current manufacturing operations. The work will be focused on high volume machining and grinding.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Responsible for supporting activities that may include:
- Ensure all manufacturing technical documentation is up to date.
- Provide technical direction to internal teams while overseeing external vendors to ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and solutions meet quality, efficiency, and production requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive problem-solving initiatives, including improving equipment efficiency, resolving downtime events, and addressing customer quality concerns.
- Provide day-to-day support of manufacturing operations and maintenance.
- Participate in identifying and/or resolving safety and ergonomics issues.
- Facilitate or deliver training for team members and maintenance personnel, while also developing technical training manuals and work instructions as needed.
- Participate in project planning and coordination to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering support role in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing.
- Previous experience with computer- based office and engineering software, including Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD.
- Ability to work off shifts and weekends as well as overtime as needed.

- Knowledge of CNC machining equipment for the following processes: ID grinding, OD Grinding, drilling, milling and turning.
- Knowledge of cold forming and heat processes.
- Knowledge of high-volume fabrication manufacturing.
- Proficiency with CAD Software
- Statistical Analysis.
- Proficient with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
- Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis.
