We design, build, and supply fencing, decking, railings, pergolas, and more for residential, commercial, and municipal customers. From our long-standing Amherst showroom and fabrication shop, we serve homeowners, contractors, and institutions with a commitment to quality, service, and integrity.
We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our Amherst location, someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, builds strong teams, and believes in doing right by people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for installation, fabrication, and inventory management
- Take ownership of the production P&L, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Collaborate closely with our pre-sales team to ensure alignment from sales through project completion
- Hire, train, and develop skilled trade professionals across field and shop operations
- Model a customer-first mindset to focus on how we make customers feel, not just what we build
- Implement process improvements and leverage technology for scheduling, quoting, and tracking
- Maintain a safe, accountable, and high-performing work environment
- Participate in industry training and events to continue growing your leadership and operational skill set
About You
- Proven leadership experience in operations, construction, production, or service management (5+ years preferred)
- Ability to balance customer satisfaction, operational goals, and financial performance
- Skilled at managing blue-collar teams and creating a culture of pride, respect, and accountability
- Tech-curious, comfortable adopting new tools and systems to improve communication and visibility
- Hands-on, organized, and driven by continuous improvement
