Job Summary
Millennium-Space Systems is looking for a Training Specialist who can develop and build our Ground Systems & Operations workforce. At MSS, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore, and inspire. From the ground to outer space, and everything in between, you’ll learn and grow, contributing to work that shapes the world. As part of the GS&O team, the candidate will develop innovative, reusable, and scalable training solutions. This position will work effectively with cross-functional teams and technical leads to determine, define, and deploy analytics solutions to meet business goals.
Position Responsibilities:
Identify training needs and requirements and develop training solutions
Evaluate and determine training objectives, content, design, and technologies
Use specialized software technology to research, develop and modify complex media and materials
Prepare lesson plans
Research, develop, deliver, and evaluate effectiveness of training
Develop and provide recommendations on training standards and specifications.
Deliver engaging training sessions, product demos, and certification programs using up-to-date materials
Coach new employees through established processes and lead onboarding classes to ensure a strong start
Partner with other divisions and departments to assess training needs and create customized, impactful learning experiences
Design, update, and continuously improve lesson plans and course content to align with new products and technologies
Collaborate with HR and other teams/departments to ensure training strategies are relevant, compliant, and aligned with company goals
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with training, coaching, or mentoring
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and comfortable using eLearning authoring tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated training design, development, and delivery for cross-disciplined employees
Demonstrated capability to analyze and translate complex workflows and operational processes into structured training curriculum that supports internal and external teams
Subject matter expert with experience in instructional design and motivating engaging learners
Developed curriculum-aligned instructional materials, including SOPs, user and reference guides, job aids, and process documentation
Experience working with Mission Assurance in support of audit-ready and compliant workflows
Familiar with multimedia tools for video/audio content creation

Pay & Benefits:

Summary Pay Range:
- Level 3: $82,450 - $121,250
- Level 4: $102,850 - $151,250
