Assembly, Alignment, and Testing of electro-optical components using interferometers per Assembly Work Instructions, prints, or engineering instructions in or out of a clean room.

Complete all necessary written documentation as it applies to production routers.

Communicate with the area Group Leader or Value Stream Manager on the status of work in process.

Job requires standing and walking short distances up to 50% of the time, bending at the waist 5%, repetitive motions 5% and lifting, handling and / or carrying up to 27 lbs.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

This position is 3rd Shift, but shift flexibility needed for training.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years’ of relevant experience.

Minimum of 4 years mechanical/electrical assembly.

Minimum of 2 years optical assembly experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
-
6 years optics/mechanical/electrical assembly experience.

Clean room experience.
-
Good dexterity skills due to delicate handling of precision optical components.

Follow oral and written instructions and have overall good communication skills.

Familiar with Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.

Must be able to work independently within a team environment
