Description:The Digital Adoption Engineer is a technically‑savvy, low‑code specialist who designs, builds, tests, and releases high‑impact WalkMe solutions that guide end‑users through core business processes. Working inside the newly‑established Center of Excellence (COE), you will:
Translate functional requirements into reusable WalkMe flows, SmartTips, Checklists, and other DAP components.
Apply UI/UX, accessibility, and data‑driven best practices to ensure intuitive, inclusive experiences.
Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle—from design through release, monitoring, and continuous improvement—while collaborating with product owners, UX designers, change‑management leads, and IT partners.
The role blends software‑engineering discipline (API usage, custom widgets, version control) with digital‑adoption expertise to accelerate user productivity and measurable business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:• Build WalkMe flows, SmartTips, Launchers, and interactive checklists that align with business
• Leverage variables, triggers, and WalkMe APIs for dynamic, context‑aware guidance.
• Create reusable pattern libraries and component standards.
• Write and execute unit‑test scripts; coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.
• Document test cases and results in JIRA; maintain a knowledge base in Confluence.
• Package and version releases according to COE governance (CAB) procedures.
• Schedule pilot rollouts, coordinate with IT for SSO/credential provisioning, and monitor go‑live health.
• Monitor production flows via WalkMe Insights (error‑rate, abandonment, completion time).
• Triage and resolve support tickets within SLA; log corrective actions in JIRA.
• Conduct periodic optimization sprints based on analytics and user feedback.
• Contribute to the COE “Build Library” – document patterns, best‑practice guides, and reusable assets.
• Participate in COE governance meetings, quarterly metrics reviews, and change‑advisory board sessions.
• Partner with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and change‑management leads throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide informal walkthroughs and coaching to other builders or business users on WalkMe.
• Stay current on WalkMe product releases, emerging DAP capabilities, and industry trends.
• Pilot advanced features (AI‑driven suggestions, multi‑step smart tips) and recommend adoption where value‑adding.
• Develop custom widgets using HTML/CSS/JavaScript when native WalkMe features are insufficient.
• Integrate WalkMe with third‑party systems via REST APIs or webhooks.
Required Skills
• Web Development/Software Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of SaaS integrations (REST, SSO, URL parameters).
• Familiarity with JIRA & Confluence for issue tracking and documentation.
• Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript for optional custom widgets (preferred).
• Ability to interpret adoption metrics (completion rates, error rates, time‑to‑task) and translate them into actionable improvement tickets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication – can explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with a bias for delivering quality on schedule.
• Collaborative mindset; comfortable working in cross‑functional, fast‑changing environments.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with any type of DAP (i.e. WalkMe, Apty, Userpilot, WhatFix, etc)
• Participation in Scrum ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Ability to create dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker using WalkMe data sources.
• WalkMe Certified Digital Adoption Specialist (Level 1 or higher) or comparable DAP certification.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $107,300 - $185,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
