Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking an Associate Systems Engineering Support Analyst to support the Aging Aircraft Analytics (AAA) team in the C-32/C-40 Systems Engineering organization.
This Level 2 position is located in Oklahoma City.
As a C-32/C-40 AAA Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting a team that develops sustainment strategies for these critical national assets that are expected to operate for an additional 20 years, which may be up to 10 years after some of their commercial passenger counterparts retire. This team performs field Reliability & Maintainability and Obsolescence activities to provide directed focus on the C-32/C-40 mission.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deeply analyze reliability, obsolescence, and sustainment data to identify opportunities to improve aircraft availability and effectiveness.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform analyses to optimize platform sustainability, affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, product assurance and other specialties into a preferred configuration to ensure C-32/C-40 mission success. Collaborate with multiple engineering functions to fully execute their scope of work such as Service Engineering, SEIT, and Project Integration. Discover new opportunities and solutions for problems with aircraft parts and systems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of technical education and work
• 1+ years of experience using aircraft technical manuals
• 1+ years of experience reading aircraft drawings and specifications
• Experience analyzing maintenance records and identifying trends that suggest reliability issues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience researching and identifying cost effective solutions to Diminishing Manufacturing Source/Material Shortage and Obsolescence issues on aircraft parts
• Experience collaborating with other engineering organizations to develop obsolescence/reliability solutions
• Experience with commercial derivative aircraft platforms
• Aircraft maintenance experience

Summary Pay Range: $75,650 – 102,350
