What does a successful Inside Sales Executive do?
A successful Inside Sales Executive at Fiserv uncovers growth opportunities, builds trusted client relationships, and helps businesses adopt modern payments solutions that align with how they live and work. You manage the sales process from first outreach through deal handoff with organization, urgency, and a focus on delivering measurable client value. You bring energy, curiosity, and a partner-first mindset to help our clients succeed.
What you will do:
- Drive new sales opportunities by researching target segments and building a qualified pipeline
- Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and social channels to generate interest and meetings
- Qualify prospects by assessing payment setup, needs, and fit for Fiserv solutions
- Maintain CRM accuracy — logging meetings, notes, follow-ups, and deal stages
- Coordinate demos, meetings, and internal resources to accelerate deals to closure
- Prepare clear, client-focused proposals and gather required pricing/product information
- Guide clients through early onboarding steps and ensure a clean handoff to implementation
- Share client insights and support team initiatives to improve sales effectiveness
What you will need to have:
- Strong consultative sales interest with a track record of managing a CRM-driven pipeline
- Excellent verbal and written communication; confident on calls and professional in meetings
- Strong organizational skills: prioritizing tasks, updating CRM, and managing multiple opportunities
- Quick aptitude for payments, integrations, and product features with the ability to explain simply
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a solutions-focused approach and strong follow-through
What would be great to have:
- Experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or comparable sales tooling
- Knowledge of payments, FinTech, or financial services industry concepts
- Understanding of basic compliance terms (PCI, KYC) and their impact on onboarding
- Confidence delivering short product walkthroughs or demos to business audiences
