Description
The Business & Financial Analyst will provide analytical, financial, and reporting support to the Real Estate and Workplace Solutions (RE&WS) organization. This early-career position is designed for professionals beginning their careers in business or financial analysis and offers hands-on experience supporting real estate portfolio management, financial reporting, and operational analysis. This position assists with compiling, validating, and analyzing data related to real estate costs, leases, space utilization, and portfolio performance. Working under the guidance of senior managers, the role supports budgeting activities, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analysis to inform real estate planning and decision-making. The position offers opportunities to develop technical, analytical, and business skills while contributing to enterprise-level real estate initiatives.

Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and consistency
Ability to follow established processes while learning and applying best practices
Business & Data Tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and working with large datasets
Experience creating or supporting reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) or willingness to learn
Technical Foundations
Basic exposure to data analysis or scripting tools (e.g., Python) through coursework or early professional experience
Ability to use approved analytical and AI-assisted tools to support analysis, documentation, and problem resolution

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
0+ years of relevant experience through entry-level roles, internships, or academic projects
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Local to Reston, VA area with ability to frequently be onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, or budgeting activities
Exposure to corporate real estate, facilities management, or asset-based analysis
Familiarity with SQL, databases, or structured data analysis
Experience working with large, complex, or unstructured datasets
Interest in developing long-term expertise in business, financial, or real estate analytics

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
