Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to a LAC Regional Office. The Administrative Assistant will support the regional team, with primary responsibility for coordinating official travel, processing visitor access and security clearance documentation, managing driver schedules, and supporting daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate domestic and international official travel, including itineraries, transportation, lodging, and required approvals.
Prepare, submit, and track documentation for security clearances and access authorization for temporary visitors, consultants, and official guests, in accordance with U.S. Government requirements.
Serves as a point of contact for visitor coordination and office access logistics.
Manage and coordinate the office driver’s schedule and official transportation requests.
Provides administrative support to the regional team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, and document preparation.
Maintains administrative records, logs, and tracking systems related to travel, visitors, and office operations.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; some college preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across various teams.
Experience performing administrative support, travel coordination, or office operations functions.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Ability to handle SBU information with discretion and professionalism.
Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
Proficiency in Spanish and English Level 4 minimum required, Level 5 preferred.
