Job Summary:
The Salesforce Administrator will provide daily support to Salesforce end users and perform core administrative tasks to maintain and enhance the platform. This role will collaborate with EMC system users, internal IT teams, external vendors, and, when necessary, customers to ensure efficient and effective use of Salesforce across the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
- Respond to and resolve “Help Desk” issues and requests, relating to Salesforce.
- Manage day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support of the Salesforce platform.
- Create and maintain users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.
- Build and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and workflows.
- Configure automation using Flow, or Apex (as appropriate).
- Develop and manage reports, dashboards, and list views to meet business needs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Maintain clean, accurate, and complete records through data validation and governance.
- Support integration of Salesforce with other systems (e.g., ERP, proprietary applications).
- Monitor system health and performance.
- Manage backup/recovery procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for Salesforce-related questions and issues.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices; recommend enhancements.
- Provide end-user training and documentation to improve adoption and data quality.
- Oversee data imports, exports, and updates using Data Loader or similar tools.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits, deduplication, and validation rule enforcement.
- Ability to deliver quality results with supervision.
- Mentor associate level team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience Required:
- 3-7 years of systems experience supporting sales, service, planning, and analytics.
Experience Preferred/Other Qualifications:
- Salesforce Admin certification.
- TaskRay Experience (Salesforce app for project management).
Physical Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
- The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
