Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a van or truck, to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with customers to address any delivery-related issues or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven ability to operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload goods as necessary
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong communication and customer service skills
