I.T. Systems Applications Administrator
Encompass Community Supports, formerly known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS) is hiring an IT Systems Applications Administrator.

At Encompass Community Supports, our full-time employees work 37.5 hours weekly.
Our IT Systems Application Administrator: Configures, implements, documents, tests, maintains, and supports all Agency line-of-business applications. Develops reports using BI Tools. Supports the EHR as a part of the EHR Core Leadership Team. Work is performed under regular supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Configures, implements, tests, and maintains various line-of-business (LOB) platforms for the Agency.
- Responsible for application administration for the Agency’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform.
- Responsible for application administration for the Agency’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, which includes human resources (HRIS) and financial (FMS) components.
- Guides the direction of the Agency's line of business platforms in conjunction with platform stakeholders and the IT Director.
- Produces reports for various Agency line-of-business applications using BI tools both internal and external to those platforms.
- Provides technical support to Agency users, investigating and researching issues encountered while using Agency LOB platforms.
- Interfaces with software vendors to solve problems and implement changes and upgrades.
- Provides training to Agency staff on LOB platforms.
- Creates instructional/informational documentation for Agency LOB platforms.
- Assists the IT Director with written policies and procedures relating to LOB platforms.
- Performs other related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Applications administration expertise, strong database structural knowledge and management skills, ability to construct complex database queries. Convey information, ideas, and instructions to staff that vary in knowledge and understanding of IT principles through the effective oral and written presentation. Possess interviewing skills to ask questions of users in ways that enhance the clarity, quality, and reliability of the information being collected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least two years of experience in administrating line-of-business applications for a company.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This work requires light physical effort working almost exclusively with lightweight materials (up to 25 pounds).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Attends training and maintains certifications as required by the Agency and regulatory guidelines.
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
- Employment with Encompass Community Supports is contingent upon the successful completion of our background check process (criminal, DMV, education, drug screening, reference check, DSS, OIG and SAM).
