Position Summary: Manages projects from start to finish. Includes maintaining project timelines, scheduling, budgets and coordinating with departments and contractors involved. Communicates and manages customers throughout project and follows up upon successful commissioning. Assists in designing new products and systems and makes improvements to existing products and systems. Create relationships with vendors and outside partners. Generates specifications, procurement, job costing, schedule management, customer service, and sales support. Supports in assisting sales with estimates. Supports design and development of new business opportunities including customer communications and relationship development where applicable.

· If required, have the ability to assist with designs and improve systems, products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability.
· Leads a project team consisting of project engineers, design engineers, outside contractors, vendors, shop and assembly personnel.
· Works with other members of the engineering staff and other departments to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner.
· Coordinates project from start to finish, including all Invoicing milestones and project close out functions
· Assists sales in sourcing pricing for quotations, from vendors and engineering
· Manages the customer relationship in conjunction with sales.
· Travels on-site to oversee installation of projects.
· Communicates and coordinates with customers, assembly team, vendors, and contractors per project.
· Mentors Jr. PM’s and Jr. Employees
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and have the insight to reach out to company SMEs to gather the required information to complete tasks.
· Performs a variety of tasks, as assigned.
· Must be flexible and be able to adapt to any changes that arise both internally and externally.
· Work with Director of Engineering and VP Engineering to build a project execution system.
· Active mentorship of emerging level project managers.

Education/Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree in related engineering and 5+ years of experience in the field and/or in a related area. Experience in related project management.
Language Ability:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Ability:
Apply advanced concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Apply operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, test reliability/validity, variance analysis, correlation technique, sampling theory and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the Internet; understanding of AutoCAD, create Gantt Charts and Project Schedules to be issued both internally and to the customer, Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
