Role:
Supports multiple robotic and automated systems and leads projects for the operations management team.
What you'll do:
Maintain, support and program new automated/robotized welding cells
- Manage all activities related to a professional maintenance program for the automated robotic weld cells
- Responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Responsible for identifying spare parts list to be procured.
- Improve preventive routines based on data analysis
- Actively participate in team to improve cell productivity.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree related to a field of choice, such as Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced)
Below are some of the most important skills that are required in this position:
Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Knowledge of robotic process automation (RPA) techniques and processes.
- Ability to develop and deploy RPA solutions across various applications.
- Proficiency with different welding robot brands (ABB, Fanuc, Cloos, IGM, among others)
- Be able to repair robotic cells malfunctions
Analysis and Problem-Solving
- Identification and analysis of weld defects using RCCA, Ishikawa, and similar tools.
- Continuous process improvement impacting PQVC through Lean methodology (A3).
Considerations for the best candidates:
- Minimum of 5 years in Robotics and or Automated welding processes, including arc welding, as well as background in the metal‑mechanic industry and in the implementation of robotic systems
