Description:International Strategies & AssessmentsWhat You Will Be DoingThe Enterprise & Campaign Strategy (ECS) team in the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (Aero) Strategic Planning (SP) organization, seeks a Principal Strategic Planner for ‘International Strategies & Assessments’. In this position, you will be supporting the development and implementation of enterprise and campaign strategies for the Aero Business Area (BA), across all Lines of Business (LOBs). As a member of the ECS team, you will be working collaboratively with other SP team members in both the Strategic Studies Group (SSG) and Growth & Resourcing (GRS) teams, as well as with organizations across the enterprise, including Global Pursuits, and key teams in Corporate and international offices. The primary objectives of this combined effort are to inform decision making of Aeronautics senior leaders and to recommend viable strategic courses of action on a wide range of business issues.
Key Responsibilities• Conduct market assessments germane to Aero’s current and potential product and services portfolio
• Identify and assess internal and external strategic issues, trends, market and environmental dynamics, as well as budgetary factors that affect Aero’s business growth and profitability
• Support strategic portfolio, campaigns, and strategy projects related primarily to ongoing and emerging international business opportunities
• Develop focused enterprise and cross-campaign business strategies that drive actionable choice
• Perform cross-campaign competitor strategic/business assessments
• Support development and deployment of the annual Aero Strategy update
• Support development of strategic communications and messaging for shaping and influencing in support of key Aero campaigns and executive-level engagements

Basic Qualifications:• Experience working across organizational boundaries in an aerospace/defense company
• Experience working in and leading projects in multi-disciplinary team environments
• Experience with analysis and data visualization on a wide range of market, environmental, policy, budgetary, operational issues
• Experience crafting, creating/building, and delivering presentations to senior management, executive leadership, and customers
• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline
Desired Skills:• Detailed knowledge of LM Aeronautics Lines of Business (LOBs) and functions
• Experience working in/with LM International Business Development/Capture
• Experience with customer-focused advocacy and engagement campaigns
• Technical and/or program management experience
• Strategic planning experience with a major defense company
• Experience with complex, multi-faceted execution strategies/tactics development and problem solving
• Excellent strategic communication skills and ability to develop and adapt persuasive messaging for varied audiences, including executive leadership
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business environment and priorities
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $166,400 - $288,305. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
