Overview
The Project Coordinator provides direct support to engineering, cybersecurity, and program management teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of complex technical initiatives. This role serves as a bridge between technical and non-technical personnel, ensuring alignment of user requirements, project milestones, and compliance objectives across enterprise and C4ISR environments. The Project Coordinator applies deep technical understanding and programmatic expertise to maintain efficiency, track progress, and ensure deliverables meet mission and regulatory standards, including FISMA and HIPAA.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support multiple concurrent technical projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality objectives are met.
- Translate user and mission requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and leadership to develop system design and integration plans for large-scale implementations.
- Support the planning and execution of system Test & Evaluation (T&E), validation, and performance reporting.
- Track and manage technical milestones, schedules, and documentation throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Maintain compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) specifications, standards, and information assurance (IA) policies.
- Assist with hardware and software evaluations, data analysis, and system performance tracking.
- Contribute to enterprise strategic planning efforts, providing insights to optimize efficiency, security, and mission effectiveness.
- Support audits and information security management activities aligned with FISMA and HIPAA IA requirements.
- Prepare reports, status updates, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Technical training in information assurance, computer network defense, enterprise/computer systems, or other technologies related to C4ISR.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience including at least three (3) of the following areas:
- Systems Requirements and Project Management
- Strategic Planning and Data Analysis
- HIPAA and Medical Systems Compliance
- Operational Requirements and Enterprise Systems Planning
- Unix/Linux System Software
- Test & Evaluation (T&E)
- Technical Training and Oversight
- Recognized expertise or leadership in one or more of the following: medical systems, information assurance, advanced system architecture, ERP, or digital communications technologies.
Demonstrated Expertise in at least two (2) of the following:
- Planning and organizing technical work, coordinating across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
- Detailed understanding of information assurance (IA) principles and requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of DoD military specifications and standards.
- System design and integration planning for enterprise or multi-site environments.
- Hardware and software evaluation and lifecycle support.
- System Test & Evaluation planning, execution, and reporting.
- System requirements planning and oversight.
- Technical milestone tracking and schedule management.
- Understanding of FISMA and HIPAA compliance frameworks.
- Information Security Management and Systems Auditing.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Experience supporting federal or DoD programs, especially within C4ISR or medical systems environments.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Security+ preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
