Job Summary
This position will be responsible for Solution Design and architecture of lifecycle management of Commercial services, integration and architecture framework for the Comcast B4B Connectivity products. The integration domain will consist of multiple platforms and services related to Commercial Business and Operations Support Systems including Fulfillment (Provisioning, activation etc.…), Network, Assurance, and Support. The candidate will manage the integration architecture and design of complex, web/cloud based hosted applications that interact with various processes, data, and services layers and ensure a clear and consistent architecture is developed for network service lifecycle management and network orchestration. The candidate will be responsible for functional and technical designs and architecture to address current and future needs of the business. The candidate will assume primary lead and liaison for all functional and technical matters related to the network orchestration and integration services platform. The candidate will work closely with product owners, business analysts, other component and solution architects, vendors, and customers to define the current and future roadmap of network orchestration and integration services platform as well as establishing and enforcing best practices for the network integration domain. The candidate must demonstrate expertise and thought leadership in the systems/network integration and network orchestration domains.

Major Duties
- Architect and design extensible and maintain commercial network orchestration and integration framework to cater the current and future needs of Commercial business needs.
- Design solutions leveraging the commercial integration framework to realize the specific needs of projects and programs.
- Define E2E solutions spanning entire service lifecycle.
- Provide Solution evaluation and design for Network Orchestration system identification and integration into the ecosystem
- Provide Solution design for Comcast B4B Connectivity products (Waves, Ethernet, Direct2Cloud connectivity etc.) integration with existing systems and vendors to include new technology deployments, network infrastructure enhancements, and Vendor onboarding and integration
- Provide Network Orchestration architecture and design for automation systems enhancements to introduce new product feature implementation support including network config management.
- Provide architecture level support for overall data structure and service modelling
- Leverage Enterprise SOA principles to design solutions involving microservices, orchestration driven flows that integrate with multiple distributed applications and Comcast core network.
- Collaborate with business, requirements and architecture teams to analyze business and system requirements.
- Architect and develop prototypes for new concepts and technology roadmaps that would eventually be used by the development teams.
- Develop functional designs including Use Cases by interacting with Business Partners as well as end users.
- Create conceptual and concrete service, xml/json and data models for application and database interactions.
- Adopt agile methodology using tools like Rally Dev.
- Perform other technical duties as assigned.
Must have skills and experience
- 10+ yrs experience as an architect/designer with a product engineering context in Telecom/Cable Industry.
- Full life-cycle development in an enterprise development environment
- Should have excellent communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Musthave“can do” /”will do” attitude
Desiredskills and experience
- Experience with Architect tools
- Experience designing and developing applications.
- Development using relational database or Open SQL databases.
- Ability to create cost-estimates and software/system development Business Cases
- Experience with Voice / Data (Wavelength, Ethernet, SDWAN services) / Video / Wireless technology
- Experience with CRM tools, Order management tools and network automation and management tools
- Experience and/or exposure architecting Cloud based solutions
- Experience and/or exposure to architecture frameworks like TOGAF

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $119,309.72 - $178,964.58
