Boeing’s Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking a dynamic and motivated Experienced Facilities Project Administrator to join our team in Arlington, VA.
This position will involve overseeing existing facilities contracts and suppliers to determine compliance with contracts, organize and manage required business/performance reviews and process invoices.
You will have the opportunity to direct construction of contract strategy and approving contracts for high-impact projects, as well as developing & presenting presentations and communicating to all levels of management.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and integrate high-impact facilities and construction projects from request intake through closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and regulatory requirements
Develop and execute contract strategies, participate in contractor selection, evaluate proposals for fair and reasonable cost, negotiate contract changes and administer contractor performance
Partner with customers to receive, validate, prioritize, and document project requests, define requirements, evaluate options and select optimal solutions that meet customer and company objectives.
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., designers, SHEA, security, network infrastructure, vendors, crafts and authorities having jurisdiction) to establish implementation plans and ensure constructability and compliance
Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary scopes of work, and conceptual, budgetary and detailed cost estimates to support business case development and decision-making
Prepare, assemble, and release comprehensive work packages, including scope, funding sources, schedules, drawings, specifications, procurement documents, estimates, permits and approvals required to execute the project
Direct project execution activities such as construction, relocations, utility shutdowns, schedule and budget management and project reviews to ensure adherence to established standards and operating procedures
Ensure compliance with Boeing standards and all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulatory requirements throughout project planning and execution
Oversee project closeout activities, including documentation, commissioning, as-built drawings and record retention to ensure audit readiness and compliance with records retention, legal, financial, and property accounting requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 + years of experience managing complex integrated schedules or projects
3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, MS PowerPoint, status charts, resource load charts)
3+ years of experience using Project Management Methodologies, including developing project plans, managing issues and risks
3+ years of experience in Facilities Project Management or Construction Management
3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of experience monitoring & coordinating implementation activities such as relocations, construction, utility shutdowns, budget management, schedule, and project reviews
5+ years of experience and knowledge of local, city, state and county codes and regulatory requirements
5+ years of experience working with building codes and commercial construction, interpreting highly complex drawings, schematics and equipment manuals
5+ years of experience with asset management and strategic long range business plans

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $101,150 - $136,850
