Job Summary
In this role you will lead and influence cross‑functional teams in shaping organizational objectives and long‑range strategy, contributing a strong strategic POV and identifying enterprise strengths and weaknesses. In Comcast Advertising, this includes defining enterprise strategy, shaping long term priorities, and clarifying how the business competes and grows within a changing advertising ecosystem. This role will recommend the allocation of resources to existing businesses, the acquisition of new businesses, and the disposition of existing businesses.
This role will oversee the Comcast Advertising Strategy team, which sits outside of the Comcast Advertising Business Units and partners with their Strategy leads closely. This role will set the overall direction of the Comcast Advertising Strategy function and ensure alignment across Comcast Advertising business unit Strategy teams. It will drive transformation and strategy execution to achieve business results and improve operating model clarity and speed. It will also create strategies that focus on competitive advantage and position Comcast Advertising for sustained growth, as well as serve as the connective tissue across the organization by convening the Strategy Council, shaping collective thinking, and ensuring stakeholders move in a coordinated, enterprise-wise alignment.
This role will develop long-term plans that impact the achievement of business results, as well as recognize revenue potential in emerging opportunities and identifies capability and organizational needs required to execute effectively. This role will demonstrate leadership versatility and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Lead the development of Comcast Advertising’s enterprise strategy by assessing market trends, business performance, and competitive dynamics, and by shaping clear priorities for long term growth.
Partner across product, technology, operations, sales, data, and finance to translate strategy into actionable plans, clarify roles and decision processes, and strengthen the operating model to improve speed and execution.
Guide transformation initiatives by identifying capability needs, organizational barriers, and opportunities to differentiate in the market, and by influencing senior leaders to align on direction and resource allocation.
Create a company business model. Evaluate the economics and business models of specific products/services, companies and industry sectors. Plan organization direction and strategy accordingly.
Support the launch of new products by working with key constituents across several business unit functions (e.g., product development, programming, operations, etc.) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Initiate business development and partnership discussions, including distribution, technology/product, content, and monetization deals.
Develop strategy for environmental scans, organizational positioning analysis and other studies relating to the Company's growth and profitability.
Lead a team of two employees, with potential for the team to grow over time.
Communicate strategies and direction effectively across the organization.
Exercise consistent independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills
7–12+ years in management consulting or corporate strategy with deep expertise in media and advertising, including hands-on familiarity with ad tech, converged TV, and the evolving video marketplace.
Exceptional strategic problem-solving and executive level communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex industry dynamics into clear frameworks, business cases, and C-suite recommendations that drive alignment.
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across a matrixed organization, navigating ambiguity, unblocking cross functional teams, and driving transformation in large-scale environments.
Ability to captivate attention in routine conversations as well as formal presentations. Must be clear in message and able to translate complex details into day-to-day narratives
Expertise in operating as a cross-functional partner, seeking to understand context, perspectives and insights when delivering a recommended plan

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $303,409.77 - $455,114.65
