Job Description Summary
The Global Repair MES Business Functional Leader role will be responsible for technical development of site and global standards and the deployment of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution at McAllen, Singapore and ACSC. The BFL will work directly with all other Business Functional Leaders, DT Leadership and directly support the McAllen Project Leader & Site functional leaders. The MES BFL will lead all technical and business teams from development through deployment of all integrations and identify data sources and deploy all new reporting standards and reports. Leverage learnings to the GE Component Repair network shops, driving process improvement and digital capability. As a Solumina subject matter expert you will provide expertise for all aspects of the MES deployment and drive manufacturing excellence through new processes and tools that will improve TAT, reduce product cost and improve product quality.
This role requires up to 50% travel (both international and domestic).
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Standardize, develop and deploy robust MES processes through collaboration and partnership with McAllen, Singapore & ACSC site Leadership and ERP working teams, repair network operational leaders, GE BFL’s, DT teams and MES partner.
- Identify & Drive MES Process standards and Best Practices into Global Repair Network and quickly leverage lessons learned to CR SAP Blueprint
- Partner with MES supplier and GE DT to resolve technical and operational issues impacting MES deployment.
- Develop and deploy router conversion process standards, roadmaps and establish Global governance process and board to assure all repair sites are following global standards from MES launch, through Go-Live and ongoing Production.
- Work directly with site Leadership teams to drive conformance to MES Global standards.
- Responsible for development, standardization and implementation of MES operating definitions & metrics for Global Repair, site leadership and MRO HQ.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of MES discipline, leverage learnings, process standards and deployment best practices to Global Repair Network.
- Lead highly technical GE DT, Tech-M & iBase-t DT teams to design, develop, test & deploy Singapore Solumina integrations between 1980’s legacy Repair ERP applications and 2020’s Solumina MES in new Vaulted On-Premises environment including the incorporation of Singapore’s blanket vouchering standards and localized/homegrown ERP extensions & tools.
- Work with site technical teams to define differences in current ERP systems to define all integrations between sites to assure no operational disruptions at Go-Live.
- Provide Hypercare Go-Live support, troubleshoot and develop operation T&A & MES integration support.
- Validate and monitor operational data & metrics generated by Solumina MES and the data feeds and metrics between Legacy ERP.
- Validate and report data quality metrics for Finance and Global Repair Network Operations leaders to assure hourly teams are vouchering accurately and in accordance with new standards
- Identify & Drive MES Process rigor through real-time data monitoring vs. standards and exception reporting
- Lead troubleshooting & support for all Legacy ERP Shops (ACSC, McAllen, Singapore P23) for their complex system defects, Spotfire reporting issues and needed developments
- Develop a robust data strategy and real time reports for McAllen and Singapore Shops with new Solumina requirements
- Lead shop in translating legacy processes (e.g. Rotables) into the new MES landscape from a data and backend processing perspective
- Become a Solumina expert and be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the application
- Train and perform train the trainer of global MES standards at sites
- Integrate industry best standards to create a robust MES solution
- Ability and Willingness to travel both internationally and domestically up to 50% of the time
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing environment) + minimum of 3 years functional experience of Solumina
Desired Characteristics
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment and functional experience of Solumnia
- In depth understanding of the shop floor operations of component repair business and hands on experience with SFE, SFC, MRO & OSB applications

The base pay range for this position is 101,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 31st 2026.
