Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and remain current on emerging cyber security threats, risks, and trends.
- Research design and implement new guard rails for emerging technologies.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools. · Maintain a register of IT risks and approved exceptions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security controls for compliance and audit readiness.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and detailed documentation
- Support the delivery of security awareness, education, and awareness for internal teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan, build, operate and transition new control procedures
Must have skills:
- Deep technical knowledge. Perform threat models and risk analysis.
- Good knowledge of cyber security principles across, risk, compliance, operations, and design.
- Experience with cyber security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Ability to identify trends, analyse risks, and develop cyber security solutions.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills for technical
- and business audiences.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing methodologies.
- Experience with security information and
- event management (SIEM) systems.
- Proficiency with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and mobile OS
- (Android and IOS).
- Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion systems, and other security technologies.
- Exposure to AI, cloud security and cloud computing technologies
