Description:You will be the Maintenance Crib Attendant for the Facilities Maintenance Operations team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of critical inventory and materials that support building and equipment repairs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Maintenance Crib Attendant you will be responsible for managing the storeroom inventory, processing parts issuance, and supporting the facilities maintenance workflow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain a computerized inventory system, verify stock quantities, and perform daily work‑order data entry.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against paperwork and SDS requirements.
- Issue parts and supplies to maintenance crews, track shipments, and coordinate carrier deliveries (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts, generate stock reports, and keep bin locations organized.
- Operate material‑handling equipment safely (hand trucks, pallet lifts, forklifts) and adhere to safety and chemical‑handling procedures.

Basic Qualifications:• Experience working with inventory and control processes.
• Proficiency with inventoried parts and assemblies.
• Strong background and knowledge of building materials and equipment, with ability to recognize and identify different parts, pipe fittings, sizes, and types of valves, hardware, electrical components, hand tools and understand the proper handling of PC boards & electronic devices.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and heavy lift (up to 35 lbs.), walking, climbing stairs, and periods of standing are required.
• Trained in the proper operation and use of material handling tools such as hand trucks and pallet lift trucks.
Desired Skills:• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to maintain a computerized storeroom inventory.
• Experience and knowledge in a Facilities Maintenance Operations setting including activities such as handling materials, shipping and receiving of parts, stocking, and inventorying associated with building repairs and machine equipment repairs.
• Proficient in the use of handheld scanners and computers to keep track of inventory parts, and stock items being issued.
• Ability to validate chemicals received match SAFETY DATA SHEET (SDS) as required by Environmental Safety and Health in the proper handling, storing and reporting of various types of chemical usage.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
