The HR Project Manager role is a dynamic and highly visible position that requires project management skills, attention to detail, and agility in responding to fast-changing business priorities. The ideal candidate will act as a point of coordination for strategic HR initiatives, gathering and synthesizing information from various sources to deliver actionable insights and executive-level deliverables. This role demands the ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage competing deadlines, and safeguard sensitive personnel and business-related information with the highest degree of discretion.
What You Will Do

Project Leadership & Execution: Lead and manage complex, high-impact HR projects and initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Establish project teams, define milestones, and execute project deliverables to drive measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Partner with Raytheon HR teams, Center of Excellence (COE) leaders, and business unit stakeholders to develop and implement HR initiatives that achieve business results and foster leadership collaboration.

Strategic Planning & Process Management: Coordinate and maintain the HR strategic calendar, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and critical engagements. Support the HR for HR lead, by proactively planning and facilitating key HR events, including strategic reviews and extended staff meetings.

Executive-Level Communication: Develop compelling and data-driven presentations for executive audiences, crafting the people narrative and supporting materials that bring clarity to strategic HR initiatives. Tailor communication to a wide range of stakeholders while maintaining an executive-ready standard.

Change Management: In partnership with the Talent and Organizational Health team, design and execute robust change management plans that lead to successful adoption of HR transformation initiatives. Partner with senior executives to align on project goals and ensure effective implementation of best practices.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, challenges, and roadblocks in project execution. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution to keep projects on track.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and metrics to track progress, evaluate project success, and provide insights to inform decisions.
Qualification You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years experience.

Experience with HR best practices, principles and functions.

Experience in managing strategic projects and initiatives, demonstrating cross-functional leadership and strong change management to achieve measurable results.

Experience working in a complex matrix environment.
Qualifications We Prefer

Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and quantitative skills.

Experience with MS Project or similar tools.

Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall approaches.

Experience creating and executing change management plans, as well as influencing senior executives.

Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of audiences and prepare executive-ready materials.

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
