We are looking for a motivated Group Leader to guide and support a high-performing Quality Inspector team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with production goals, while also working hands-on with your team to uphold the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in fostering team development, driving continuous process improvements, and building a culture of operational excellence. This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What You Will Do

Coordinate all manufacturing functions to ensure operations run at maximum efficiency.

Assign and monitor daily tasks based on production priorities received from the supervisor.

Lead by example by performing tasks alongside the team when necessary.

Ensure team members have the tools and materials required to complete their work.
-
Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate complex problems to the supervisor.

Ensure production timelines, customer expectations, and quality system requirements are met.
-
Monitor and document incoming and outgoing product/equipment inspections.
-
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to less experienced employees.
-
Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with EH&S policies.

Step in as acting supervisor when authorized and coordinate with other supervisors as needed.

Prepare reports on team performance, productivity, and area-specific activities.

Follow and enforce company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
-
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
-
At least 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
-
Knowledge of all roles within the assigned area, cell, or building.

Background and/or experience in inspection processes
-
Experience in using Microsoft Office and general computer use.

Knowledge in understanding of operational processes and quality assurance.

No active disciplinary records; strong attendance, punctuality, and quality performance.
