About the Team
We’re the storytellers behind the Workday brand. The PR team is responsible for elevating and protecting Workday’s reputation with bold, opinionated, and differentiated storytelling that moves the business forward. We don’t just engage in conversations on the future of work – we shape them. Our goal is to make Workday widely recognized by external stakeholders as a leading voice on the future of work in the AI era.
About the Role
This is a role for someone who loves finding great stories - and finding new ways to tell them. As Senior PR Manager, you’ll build and lead industry and customer PR programs that showcase how Workday is making a real impact in the world. You’ll collaborate closely across teams, connect the dots, and bring fresh ideas to the table every day.
You’ll play a key role in shining a spotlight on the industries that matter most to us - healthcare, financial services, higher education, public sector, retail and hospitality, and beyond - showcasing the innovative, sometimes surprising, ways our customers are using Workday to reimagine how work gets done. If you’re energized by storytelling, media relations, problem solving, and working with smart, curious people who deeply care about making an impact, this role was built for you.
This role requires demonstrated experience juggling fast-paced programs, projects, and priorities from strategic planning through tactical execution.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a creative PR professional with real hustle, a sharp eye for news, who is proficient in the use of AI – someone who instinctively knows what will resonate and how to move fast when it matters. You’re an excellent writer and self-starter who builds strong, trusted relationships with journalists, influencers, and other communications stakeholders, while seamlessly partnering with executives and marketing teams. You’re just as comfortable setting PR strategy and shaping narratives as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute and land coverage.

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.
