Leidos' Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) reports into the Digital Modernization Sector and collaborates across organizational lines to deliver effective enabling digital capabilities to our global employee base. The OCIO team develops, deploys, and manages innovative digital capabilities leveraging industry-leading partnerships and cost-effective deployment and management models. The OCIO is seeking forward-thinking leaders to drive efficient capability delivery and management, more opportunities for innovation, and facilitate data-driven decisions across the enterprise.
We are seeking a Director of Managed Business Applications to to lead our Managed Business Applications team to integrate, configure and support business applications and SaaS integrated tools to streamline Leidos operations and enhance user experience. The team combines technical excellence with deep industry knowledge to configure and integrate sector sponsored applications and provide assistance in building a strategic roadmap and enhance capabilities within the solution.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical knowledge across various architectural domains, such as application architecture, infrastructure, data, and security. Additionally, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills are crucial for collaborating with diverse teams and driving successful outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
ERP Transformation Strategy, Execution & Delivery
Assist the enterprise ERP transformation strategy, serving as the owner for modernization, optimization, and long-term evolution of Leidos’ ERP ecosystem.
Help define and execute a multi-year ERP transformation roadmap that aligns business strategy, financial objectives, operational efficiency, and regulatory requirements.
Act as the primary technology partner with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Manufacturing, and Program Operations leaders to ensure ERP capabilities directly enable mission outcomes and enterprise performance.
Drive large-scale organizational change management associated with ERP transformation, including process standardization, adoption, training, and stakeholder alignment.
Accountable for the ERP roadmap, enhancement prioritization and vendor strategy, with direct ownership of the annual budget.
Lead complex, multi-year application transformation programs, including upgrades, re-platforming, major module implementations, and enterprise integrations.
Drive disciplined program governance, including milestone management, risk mitigation, financial oversight, and executive reporting.
Ensure solutions are tightly integrated across SaaS, COTS, and custom platforms to enable seamless end-to-end business processes.
Establish KPIs and value-realization metrics tied to outcomes such as cost efficiency, cycle time reduction, data quality, and user adoption.
Application Ownership
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of core application platforms (e.g., Costpoint, Workday, Ivalua, and adjacent ERP-integrated solutions), ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
Lead application consolidation and rationalization efforts to reduce technical sprawl, retire legacy systems, and standardize enterprise business processes.
Serve as the primary interface with ERP vendors and system integrators, influencing product roadmaps, negotiating contracts, and ensuring delivery accountability.
Ensure platforms are designed and operated as enterprise products, with clear service models, roadmaps, and business value metrics.
Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, CIS, and CDAO teams to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and data-centric.
Leadership & Strategy
Build and lead a high-performing, services-based team focused on platform configuration, integration, and continuous improvement.
Drive a cohesive enterprise roadmap that balances modernization, innovation, and cost efficiency.
Lead cross-functional teams in the design, configuration, and integration of key SaaS and COTS platforms, including Workday, Costpoint, Ivalua, digital manufacturing tools, and other enterprise solutions.
Develop an outcome-based culture that empowers teams, rewards excellence, and fosters innovation.
Contribute to the CIO strategic roadmap of progressive opportunities for modernization, innovation, and system retirement Drive continuous improvement in project / tool delivery with an increased focus on user experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field and 12+ years of experience in IT management. Additional years of relevant experience, training, and/or professional certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.
12+ years of experience leading teams or IT projects with demonstrated competency in the full range of stakeholder management
Demonstrable experience in support of a successful ERP transformation effort that demonstrates the leadership and strategic thinking outlined in the primary responsibilities section.
Demonstrable experience leading geographically-dispersed technical teams through large scale organizational change
Demonstrable experience developing and executing a strategic vision through to deliver capabilities to an enterprise
Experience managing enterprise grade SaaS and COTS software solutions (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, ERP systems, etc.)
Experience with successfully managing P&L responsibilities
Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
