Product Owner
What does a successful Product Owner do at Fiserv?
As a Product Owner, you will support delivery within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Agile Release Train (ART). In this role, you will guide the creation and prioritization of user stories, ensure alignment on requirements, and help the team deliver high‑quality solutions that meet business and client needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings strong analytical and Agile expertise.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand the product roadmap.
- Manage backlogs and prioritize user stories to maximize value delivery.
- Define clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Participate in scrum events, PI planning, and demos.
- Work closely with development teams and architects to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the Agile team, validate solutions stakeholders, and facilitate stakeholder communications and decision making.
- Support cross‑functional coordination across teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment
- Experience with the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System
- Proficiency in applying Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies
- Experience in collaborating with technical architects, business resources, and clients to drive product decisions
- Bachelor’s degree and related experience and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Experience working with or within government systems or regulated environments
- Background in enterprise SaaS or platform products
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent
Important info about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
- You will work an assigned schedule of Monday – Friday, full-time 8am-5pm or similar. Work hours must overlap with core business hours of 9am – 3pm.
- This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
Travel:
- This role requires occasional travel (up to 5%).
