- Develop and maintain API documentation and developer examples, including code samples and usage guidance that enable a high‑quality developer experience.
- Author and publish content using enterprise authoring and publication tools, apply single‑source/DITA/XML practices, manage source content in version control, and use generative AI as a copilot where appropriate.
- Work within Agile delivery teams to prioritize documentation tasks, integrate content work into release cycles, evaluate training effectiveness through metrics and feedback, and iterate content accordingly.
What you will need to have:
- 4–6 years as a Technical Writer or Information Developer producing product documentation and API references, including at least 3 years specifically authoring API/developer reference materials.
- Authoring/publication tool proficiency: MadCap Flare (v11+) ≥3 years, Adobe FrameMaker (v11+) ≥3 years, Microsoft Office 365 & Adobe Acrobat ≥4 years; plus ≥2 years’ familiarity with CMS, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Structured content and web skills: DITA/XML single‑source publishing ≥2 years, HTML & CSS ≥2 years, and ≥2 years using version control to manage source content and developer‑facing code examples.
- Education and learning/AI: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related field; eLearning Development tools (Articulate/Captivate) ≥2 years; Agile/sprint integration experience ≥2 years; generative AI tools used as copilot ≥1 year.
What would be nice to have:
