Job Overview
The EQS Warehouse Parts Clerk position assists in the picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes of parts order requests within the Central Parts Warehouse. The EQS Warehouse Parts Clerk will ensure quality of parts received meet specified standards and accuracy of order fulfillment is maintained. The position will also participate in inventory control and reconciliation processes, such as cycle counting and inventory counting. The EQS Warehouse Parts Clerk will be assigned multiple responsibilities that will have to be managed simultaneously, which will require efficient use of time management and organization skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship parts for outbound orders
- Ensure accuracy of quantity, quality, and stocking of inbound orders
- Maintain documentation necessary to ensure consistent inventory controls are followed
- Kit, package, or bag parts that require additional preparation prior to warehousing
- Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of warehouse area
- Assist with cycle counting and full inventory activities
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Knowledge of inventory processes to assist with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving parts
- Basic computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Power Industrial Truck (PIT) experience preferred
- Must be able to repeatedly pull, push, and carry heavy loads
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Must be able to work on feet for at least 8 hours
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Work Environment
Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer/cold in winter)
