Job Summary and Qualifications
The VP of Quality is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all accreditation and licensure standards at all times. Coordinates hospital-wide continuing quality improvement activities. Responsible for identification, investigation, analysis, and evaluation of risk and selection of the most advantageous method of correcting, reducing or eliminating identifiable risk. The risk responsibilities as identified by the CEO. Responsible for medical Staff activities, credentialing, and leadership. Responsible for ensuring Infection Control activities are compliant. Reports the activities of the Quality program to the Medical Staff, Leadership Team, and the Board of Trustees.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Preferred. Graduate from an accredited RN or other healthcare related field
- Minimum of 5 years health care experience with a focus on Quality Management, performance improvement, and/or RiskManagement in a supervisory and/or management capacity required
- RN license preferred, Florida Risk Management licensed desired
