About the Role & Team
The Travel Industry Marketing team is focused on building magical relationships that enable us, our clients and our strategic partners to create and deliver unforgettable Disney experiences. The team drives demand for Disney Destinations, primarily Walt Disney World Resort, through Sales Channels, B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies, programs and tactics.
As a Marketing Strategy Manager, you will focus primarily on the Central Florida sales channel, lead the development of marketing plans for Third Party clients and drive go-to-market innovation.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy.
What You Will Do
Lead the Central Florida Sales marketing strategy for Walt Disney World.
Drive increased familiarity, engagement and conversion by understanding the site strategic priorities and unique nature of the Central Florida Sales channel.
Partner closely with internal sales team and provide thoughtful go to market recommendations that support overarching sales channel strategies and delivers business results for the site.
Develop and lead multiple projects, initiatives, and tactics from strategic input to final production and distribution.
Research the latest industry insights, travel trends and competitive landscape to inform creative and strategic decision making.
Partner with creative agency to provide input, guidance, and feedback to ensure relevant and engaging creative execution align with branding and strategic needs of the business.
Contribute to the development of cross-channel Integrated Communication Plans and After-Action Reports through research and analysis including measurements, results and actionable insights.
Assist partners and clients with approvals and serve as subject matter expert for Disney marketing guidelines including photo usage, nomenclature, and trademark rules.
Maintain the marketing budget for the Central Florida Sales channel and submit estimates and invoices to finance partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of related marketing, travel & tourism industry, sales, or consumer marketing experience.
Business acumen, project management and technical marketing skills.
Ability to convey a verbal or written story / presentation that influences others.
Experience in creative strategic plans, manage high volume of tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment
Success in building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work experience in Brand or Consumer Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing, or Advertising Account Management.
