Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Summer 2026 Health and Safety Intern. In this role, you will work with the RMS Enterprise EHS team to ensure ongoing implementation and enhancement of RMS ESH programs, regulatory compliance, and subject matter Health and Safety support. Your role will encompass supporting the tracking and trending of EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), injury/illness and close call investigation and analysis, Risk Assessments and JHAs review, EHS policies and procedures writing and review, and collaborating on EHS Critical Risk Program (e.g. electrical safety, LOTO, suspended load operations) implementation and assessment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills with a customer-focused approach. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging business environment and gain experience working for a large company. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or related field at an accredited college or university to be considered for this position
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to track, trend and analyze data as it relates to Occupational Health & Safety

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
