Perform repairman duties to accomplish repairs to engine components and accessories including drilling, faster removal, blending, installation of inserts, and silicon repairs.

Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassembly and test a jet engine.

Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
HS Diploma or GED
-
2+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance or completion of one of the following: 1 year of an A&P program, a site-based high school internship/apprenticeship, or relevant technical training (e.g., ASE certification or military equivalent).

Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) processes.

3+ years of relevant engine maintenance or overhaul experience.

Experience with engine overhaul and repair, including GTF and/or F117, PW2000 platforms.

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, or Turbine Engine Test Operations.

Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or RTX’s CORE Operating System.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
