Construction supervision for the RTX Northeast Region, ensuring effective communication with Engineers, Project Management Teams, In house facilities team, EHS, Physical Security, Logistics, and General Contractors.

Foster a safe work environment by implementing safety protocols and best practices, focusing on maximizing production and progress while adhering to safety regulations.

Assist clients and stakeholders with accurate project scope definitions, Pre-Construction meetings, weekly status reports, and facilitate rapid project completion.

Oversee and manage field supervision for various construction programs and projects within RTX, particularly during scheduled shutdowns, weekend work, and 2nd shifts.

Ability to respond effectively to unforeseen situations in the field with the physical capability to address matters inside trenches, above ceiling grids, and building roof tops alike.

Prepare and manage essential project documentation, including transmittal documents, RFIs, contractor badging, hot-work permits, and impairment requests.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation from the design phase through to project closing, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

Support and promote VPP (Voluntary Protection Program) safety efforts across RTX sites, ensuring adherence to safety practices and regulations.

Ability to evaluate and make recommendations on MEP field changes.

Provide direction to in-house RE’s when their direct supervisor is not available.

Coordinate other internal stakeholders such as MTM, DT, and TMR to keep the project on schedule.

Be the primary POC to respond to 1505 safety and vending concerns
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
This role typically requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and at least 2 years of experience preferably gained in a high-profile project environment or an advanced degree in a related field.

At least 3 years’ experience managing multiple construction projects successfully under tight deadlines and shutdown conditions.

At least 3 years’ experience with and a strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, environmental, and documentation practices.
Qualifications We Prefer:

Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, CCM, PMP, LEED) are highly desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
