Description:We are seeking a senior‑level engineer to design, build, and operate next‑generation dynamic authorization platforms that enable fine‑grained, policy‑driven access control across our global enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with XACML, Rego/OPA, CIAM, and modern cloud‑native IAM stacks, and will be comfortable leading cross‑functional teams, influencing architecture decisions, and interfacing with both technical and business stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle
- Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions
- Develop, evaluate and analyze design constrains, trade-offs and detailed system and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain
- Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers in the development of solutions
- Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements
Basic Qualifications:7+ years of hands‑on experience in IAM, with at least 2 years focusing on dynamic authorization (XACML, Rego/OPA, policy‑as‑code).
Understanding of data access requirements and concerns for Lockheed Martin 1LMX Programs.
Proven track record architecting and deploying authorization platforms based on the SGNL product.
Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, and related federation protocols.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams, conduct POCs, and deliver large‑scale migrations.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $142,000 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
